We engage with federal appropriations at every step of the process — successfully encouraging Congress to invest in transparency, modernization, and the Legislative branch as a whole.
We demystify the appropriations process to empower congressional staff and other civil society groups
We provide trackers, explainers, and more to model how Congress should create more transparency.
We develop and incubate tools for Congress, then urge Congress to adopt them
We’re working to improve innovation within the Legislative branch, but for now, we provide a little help from the outside.
OUR IMPACT:
We’re strengthening Congress’s ability to do its job. Congress is adopting our reforms. We are modernizing how it uses technology, opening up government, stopping the revolving door, and making government accountable to all of us.
